A NEW FASHION OF AVIAN CLOTHING !!

Bonnie, Jesse, & Shelly Cherub had lived in this contraption for over 10 years. If you look close in the pictures, the plastic had removed the feathers off the tips of her wings and caused a hard calus. The day before you package arrived, I woke to find Cherub had chewed a hole under her wing (again). The sock buddy might be great for one of my (Plucked birds (That is not a mutilator) but certianly doesn't do the job for Cherub. These socks are very dangerous and got tangled in her feet....I had to cut it off. I want you to know, you have given her back her freedom with the Bird Wrapz, though there is a lot she doesn't know how to do (like holding food in her foot to eat. She can now tuck her little head into her feathers and sleep like a real bird. (To actually watch her sleep now brings tears to my eyes, it such a wonderful sight!) I wish I had words to truly show how much we appreciate you. We get the worst case of birds in our rescue. There are few in the US that actually are able to give the care that we provide. We are a one in a million as far as our equipment, staff, and bird to worker ratio. Not to mention, we are the only one in our state and we serve 3 states around us. You have really helped us in the life of Cherub and I certainly have another that will be using the larger donated Bird Wrapz. Thank You so much!! I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. What you are doing is wonderful and you have really helped my parrot. I have a blue & gold named Gidgette. I call her my “Gidgette girl”. She started plucking over a year ago and I have tried everything to make her stop. All the sprays, the sock buddy (which was horrible), etc. I even tried to make some things for her to wear so I could cover her chest so she would not pluck her feathers.
Nothing has helped her the way the parrot wrapz has. It took about 4 tries to get her to wear it, but once it was on, it covered that plucking area and she looked beautiful in it.
I showed her in the mirror how pretty she looked. She actually knew she looked good.
She sometimes tries to chew the velcro, but has left herself alone. I felt all along that I just needed something to cover the area properly and this did the job.
The wrapz with a little discipline worked.
I want to thank you and wish you all the luck in this business- what an idea!! Gidgette girl thanks you also.
